Obviously home based jobs are, and always have been real, but they do not consider a work at home to be a job in a traditional sense. For them a job is an employment, or a 9 to 5 activity. Also, the vast majority of the jobs done from home have an entrepreneurship and freedom ingredient in it. That could explain why traditional community job search centers do not include them.
